For generations, with the same love for the land

In Castell’Ottieri, nestled among the peaceful hills of the Maremma, our family has been cultivating olive trees for generations.

This deep connection with the land gave rise to Oliva Cappelletti, a Tuscan extra virgin olive oil that tells a simple story: one of quality, tradition and roots that cannot be forgotten.

My name is Luca and I grew up in Castell’Ottieri, a small village in the Tuscan Maremma. I have been living in Trentino Alto Adige since 2010, first for my studies and then for work and lifestyle choices, but I often return to what I still call home.

It is from this bond that the true authenticity of Oliva Cappelletti is born.

A family name, a place, a legacy

The name Cappelletti is not only my great-grandmother’s surname: it is also the name of the hill where the olive trees grow.

A place that does not appear on maps, but which exists in memory, in handed-down traditions, in the customs of a land that lives to the rhythm of the seasons.

Castell’Ottieri is a small village in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, where time passes at the rhythm of the seasons. It is here, among hills covered with olive trees, chestnut trees and valleys, that the Cappelletti estate is located.

This area has a long history: my ancestors cultivated these lands, and today I am working to restore and reunite the estate that has been lost over time.

The Maremma gives our extra virgin olive oil unique characteristics: a mild climate, rich soil and biodiversity that is reflected in the authentic taste of our products.

We cultivate four varieties of olives — Caninese, Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino — which grow on these hills and which we have been telling the story of for generations through our oil.

I nostri oli

From the four varieties we grow, Caninese, Frantoio, Moraiolo and Leccino,  we produce three Tuscan extra virgin olive oils, each with its own distinct personality.

Every bottle tells the story of the Maremma region, the artisanal methods we use and the care we put into every stage of production.
